Themed Events: Naima can create original work uniquely crafted for your event, conference or functions such as weddings or birthday parties. In her performance, "her" power and passion for the word, would surely be at the helm of anything she creates, adding to the experience for those in attendance of your event. Naima has performed for weddings many community events and programs.

Workshops: Naima has a background in theater and spoken word poetry. She has developed her own workshop module, curriculum. Naima’s workshops include, writing, music and theatrical performance. The program is divided into two sections; traditional theater as well as poetry and performance. Naima has served as a teaching artist for many schools, including her own alma mater SUNY Purchase College. Workshops are available for K-12 as well as adults. The workshops are designed to explore playwrights, novelist, poets, and imagining the literature for performance; furthermore, developing new characters and telling stories through writing and performance technique.

Artist Residencies: Naima facilitates a series of workshops based on the guidelines provided by an organization. She can provide workshop curriculum's, with writing and theater as the bases. Overall objectives, are to encourage participants using reputable works to deeply explore dramatic writing and performance. 


Naima Yetunde Ince-Griffiths has been taking the Triangle area by storm. Ince-Griffiths has significant accomplishments within the New York City area as a performance poet and produces and directs theatrical works. Originally from Brooklyn NY, a recent resident, of Raleigh North Carolina, Ince-Griffiths has already left her signature mark at various spoken word venues. Some highlights include; directing an original one act play entitled Men Always Leave; at the first annual Women’s Theater Festival NC in the summer of 2016. The one-act stage play was published by Writers Block Publishing in June 2016. In the fall of 2016, adapted Men Always Leave from stage to screen. The now 8-episode limited series drama will debut December 22,2017.  The new development of her work, quickly ignited the fuel to her desires to develop her own theater and film company.  Therefore, Naima Yetunde Ince founded N.Y.I Productions and her name gives precedence to the title. She has been a feature reader with the Main Street Rag Writers Group. Released the limited edition of her 3rd book entitled "Ghost Load" in winter of 2017 and was featured in the Indy week March 13,2017 issue. Ince-Griffiths' books can be found at the local So & So Bookstore on Person Street in Raleigh. So and So Bookstore

Ince-Griffiths, active in theater for over 10 years. One of the most exciting highlights of her career was working alongside Mr. Melvin Van Peebles on the adaptation of Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song-directed by Melvin Van Peebles. Ince-Griffiths, tripled as a production assistant, stage manager and actress and traveled with the company to Paris, France in the winter of 2010. Ince-Griffiths says, my goal is to reach my community and beyond. Sky's the limit.
